Dear Mr. Chason,

Thank you for your generous donation of your company's resources to Manna House, Inc. The air conditioning always seems to know when it is going to be the hottest and the worst time to malfunction. Conversely the heating systems wait until the coldest weather.

Fortunately we have many volunteers who help us with our work and when it is hot they cannot work comfortably, nor can the clients enjoy their meal.

This past fiscal year we served men, women and children a total of 44,333 meals, this averages to 150 persons each day. The population changes during the year. People eat in our kitchen for different reasons, the homeless, the substance abusers and the families who are employed but who work for minimum wages and cannot make ends meet. As part of our program we also provide advice for theclients, information and referral, hygiene items, telephone use, and help filling out applications. We also provide transitional housing to three families.

Again we thank you for helping us in our time of need. We are also thankful that Howard (our number one volunteer) knew you and could call on you.

I just wanted to thank you and your men for a very professional job. From the very beginning of our contact with your company, we were treated with courtesy and given prompt, perhaps even priority, treatment. Your air conditioner installers, Tim and Rick, were courteous, professional, pleasant and patient, and I want to extend our thanks in particular to them. The patience part came in handy when we asked so many questions.

The unit which was installed is operating to perfection. For years I have had to use oscillating fans in our upstairs to augment the air conditioner. I was amazed and extremely pleased to realize that is no longer necessary. The new digital thermostat which was installed keeps our entire house at a very even temperature.

   I would like to tell you how much we really have enjoyed our air conditioning since your company did such a wonderful job of installing it.
   Thanks to Warren Klug who took the time to explain the advantages of a Carrier system, how good youy company is, and how thorough the owner, Bob Chason, is. He also explained how outstanding the service Department is.
   The men who installed the unit did an outstanding job. They were courteous and professional. The few times I got to speak to you I felt as if I was talking to a friend.
   Then, after three weeks my air conditioner gives up the Ghost. On the sunday before Laor Day, WOW!! I called for service and expected to be put on the end preverbial waiting list. Maybe if I am lucky the unit to be back in service within the month. Well!! In about twenty minutes after I placed the call this life saving voice says, "I'll be there in an hour". And within the hour in comes Chuck. He found the problem, a circuit braker in our braker box went bad. He then went to the store to buy a replacement for the broken braker.
   Thanks to Chuck who represents what good service should always be, we are back in business in hours.
   Well Bob, I would like to tell you how much I really like my Carrier but to tell you the truth it hasn't been hot enough yet for a real test.
   BUT I don't have to worry about the company that sold it to me because they are GREAT!
